Directions

Transportation:

Campers will be transported to and from Camp Winthers.

Pick-up will be at 8AM and they will be returned by 3pm on Friday.

 

Drop-off/pickup location:

The location is San Juan Unified School District Office, 3738 Walnut Ave, Carmichael, CA  95608. We will stage out of the Northeast parking lot near Gibbons Drive.
 

You may also drive your camper to Camp Winthers (please notify us in advance):

• Take I-80 East toward Reno
• Exit right at Soda Springs (before Donner Summit)
• Turn right at flashing yellow light onto Soda Springs Road (about 1 mile)
• Cross railroad, go up hill approximately 3/4 mile
• Turn right on Pahatsi Road
• Pahatsi Road becomes a ROUGH dirt road for about two miles.
• Turn left at the Camp Winthers sign
• Camp Winthers will be approximately one mile down the road
