Camp Winthers expands summer opportunities with returning Venture Base Camp and Music Camp
This summer, even more students had the opportunity to make mountain memories at Camp Winthers through the return of two specialty camp experiences: Venture Base Camp and Music Camp.
Designed to build confidence, strengthen friendships and help students explore their interests, both programs offer unique opportunities that extend beyond the traditional Camp Winthers experience while preserving everything students love about camp.
Formerly known as Venture Camp, Venture Base Camp is designed exclusively for students ages 13 to 15. Campers experience a more independent style of outdoor adventure by sleeping outdoors, preparing their own meals and developing teamwork, leadership and outdoor living skills.
Music Camp offers student musicians the chance to take their passion beyond the classroom and into the outdoors.
Throughout the week, students rehearse together in Camp Winthers' natural setting, receive individualized instruction from music educators and culminate their experience with an outdoor concert for friends and family.
Together, these returning programs reflect Camp Winthers' commitment to providing meaningful experiences that help students discover new interests, develop lifelong skills and create lasting memories.
